The role
The Senior Manager, Business Operations is responsible for providing operational and financial reporting to track profitability and efficiency. As a business partner of the Marketing leaders, this position is responsible for the consolidation of all local marketing forecasts, budgets, and financial, and tracking reports.
Key requirements
- Partner with SVP Field Marketing and Regional VPs of Marketing leaders to achieve overall Global Local Marketing objectives
- Provide timely and accurate operational reports to track overall marketing performance as well as regional team’s performance
- Anticipate future business results by creating accurate forecasts and providing alternatives when needed
- Track key statistics and identify trends in the business
- Review consolidated local marketing forecast tours, volume, VPG and cost on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for ongoing planning and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Create and analyze performance reports, to measure compensation plans and target efficiencies, and financial statistics for direct use and/or for site leaders and team members
- Partner with local Business Operations team to ensure local marketing locations operate within budgeted cost
- Work with Accounting to ensure all expenses are properly recorded and accrued for Global Retail/ Field Marketing department
- Consolidate and review monthly financial statements and report variance explanations
- Monitor and communicate staffing levels, recruiting targets and tour forecasts for optimal efficiency.

- Knowledge of IBM Cognos and SQL queries for reporting, strongly preferred.
- Computer experience with Oracle Business Intelligence, Hyperion SmartView, PeopleSoft Financials
- BA/BS/bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 4-5 years of Financial Analysis experience, preferably Vacation Ownership
- Minimum 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
