Key Responsibilities
- Leads the day-to-day management of recruiting activities including the sourcing and selection process for all positions in Business Services & Support, ensuring that efforts are aggressive, and timelines are met.
- Manages, mentors & coaches a team of recruiting professionals to successfully achieve hiring goals.
- Develops and executes recruiting plans and sourcing strategies.
- Displays an awareness & sensitivity to business unit needs through consistent contact with managers and business partners.
- Develops and advocates improving operational processes and practices that drive strong performance across all recruitment related activities: Time to Fill,
- Quality of Hire, Cost per Hire, Source Effectiveness, Negotiation and Close.
- Participates in the recruitment of senior level and/or roles across various disciplines by handling full life cycle recruitment process.
- Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and project needs and implementation.
- Attend recruiting events and conferences and other networking functions to build relationships, source active & passive candidates and develop an understanding of the current employment market.
- Cultivate relationships to act as liaison for client groups on day- to- day issues and/or needs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration in the department and throughout the company to ensure continued unity of purpose and fulfilment of evolving needs.
- Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Talent Acquisition team members.
- Create innovative recruitment programs that support HGV’s strategic sourcing model and key initiatives
- Evaluate, develop, and implement HGV policies and procedures on recruitment, testing, selection, and job placement
- Forecast short- and long-term staffing needs through relationships with key leaders to ensure internal recruitment staffing levels and strategies exist to meet those needs
- Ensure tracking and reporting of recruitment performance metrics (i.e. time to fill, cost per hire, turnover cost, turnover rate, ROI for various recruiting tools)
- Develop and provide regular communication of progress and future challenges with solutions to Senior Leaders.

- Proven track record in developing and leading the implementation of innovative recruitment strategies to support aggressive business growth
- Dedicated recruitment background in a large organization, hospitality and sales environment are a plus
- Proven superior relationship building and negotiation skills required
- Has established excellent competencies in communication and collaboration - including excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with key stakeholders to include Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, Vendors, Candidates, Team Members, and the business community
- BA/BS/bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience leading teams of field recruiters and/or other internal employment functions; specifically in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition or another area of management where there is a proven demonstration of workforce planning, team development, and other management-level responsibilities related to overseeing staff and the function within a business unit.
- 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Previous sales and marketing talent acquisition experience.
