- Editing footage: Cutting and assembling video footage to create logical sequence and engaging story flow.
- Creating graphics and effects: Incorporating visual effects, titles, texts, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance the video's aesthetic and storytelling.
- Storyboarding: create storyboards to create visual representations and enhance efficiency throughout the creative process.
- Audio editing: Mixing and adjusting audio tracks, including dialogue, sound effects, and music to complement footage.
- Color correction and image formatting: Adjusting the color profile of the video and format images to use in videos to achieve a consistent and desired look.
- Team collaboration: Working closely with directors, producers, social media team and other creative personnel to understand project goals and provide creative input.
- Project managing: organizing, tracking progress, and balance multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Delivering final product: Preparing the video for distribution by exporting in the correct format and specifications following project deadlines.
- Stays abreast of industry trends in the video landscape including evolving technologies and trends.
- Embodies the Hilton Grand Vacations Values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, Now,
- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- 3 to 5 years of video editing experience in a corporate or agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Cinema Studies, Mass Communications or related field
- Proficiency in video and editing software including Adobe Products such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. (Bonus if experience in social media video editing tools such as in-platform or CapCut)
- Strong storytelling and creative vision skills: Understanding how to structure a narrative using visual elements and pacing, as well as ability to interpret creative direction and contribute original ideas to enhance the video.
- Specific Social Media editing experience is welcome
- Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in editing, including continuity and consistency.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
