Responsibilities—Automotive Parts Associate:
Shipping & Receiving: Manage the timely and accurate shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring proper documentation and organization of deliveries and returns. Safely operate a forklift on occasion to assist with moving and stocking larger parts.- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and maintaining parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimized and parts are properly stored and labeled.
- Parts Associate Support: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including preparing parts for delivery, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining an organized work environment.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering solutions, and helping with any parts-related issues, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside other departments to ensure smooth operations, including collaborating with the service department on parts availability for repairs or vehicle maintenance.
- Learning & Growth: Continuously learn about the different parts and services offered and be open to taking on new responsibilities within the parts department. Aim to advance within the department and take on more senior roles over time.
- General Maintenance: Ensure parts storage areas are organized, clean, and well-maintained, including regular inventory checks and reorganization as needed.
- Assist with Special Projects: Help with various parts-related tasks and projects as they arise, supporting team members in their daily work and contributing to the overall success of the parts department.
Qualifications—Automotive Parts Associate:
Strong commitment to prompt and reliable work attendance- Excellent work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused with good communication skills
- Eager to learn new tasks and procedures within the parts department and contribute to team success
- Must upload a current resume and complete the online assessment for immediate consideration
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required—We'll provide training and certification!
- Auto parts experience is a plus!
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required
