The Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing payments and invoices.
A vital job function of this position is attitude, which includes cooperating and interacting positively with co-workers, working as one of the team members, responding to inquiries in a polite manner, responding positively to supervision, and willing to work under time pressure. The Accounts Payable Clerk may also be required to perform other tasks as required.
The essential functions include producing vendor payments, performing voucher reviews, and keeping accounts payable reports.
Responsibilities:
· Some responsibilities of the accounts payable clerk comprise of clearing account payments, handling concerns or issues with vendors that are pertaining to the payment disbursement and working with several departments in accordance to the financial transactions in the entire company.
· Create an efficient network for working out distributing payments promptly.
Requirements:
· Must have experience with Excel and Word.
· Detail oriented
· 1 year Accounting experience (preferred)
· Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
· Position requires excellent communication and computer keyboarding skills.
The Part-time Accounts Payable Clerk is a non-exempt position. Position is located on Hilton Head Island, SC. Person must be able to work on a part-time schedule however they must be able to work on Wednesday and Thursday each week.

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
