Bartender
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stock bar with necessary supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Create and maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, retail math, and basic math skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
