What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Perform basic math calculations to accurately process payments and provide change
- be able to work at both restaurants Coconutz and Jamaica Joe’z
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling purposes
