Maintenance

Essential Position Functions:

1. Maintain the building and grounds to meet hotel standards.

2. Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information about guest rooms and hotel.

3. Perform preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.

4. Plan and execute on-going appropriate maintenance programs.

5. Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacture.

6. Service the hotel’s pool including cleaning, appearance, and chemical balance and completing maintenance log.

7. Maintain building exterior.

8. Complete maintenance logs.

9. Responsible for maintaining tool inventory and condition. Keep maintenance storage room and maintenance room cleaned and organized.

10. May perform or assist with periodic or scheduled cleaning projects.

11. Maintain open communication with other hotel departments.

12. Understand and help monitor basic safety and security procedures of the hotel.

13. Assist other departments when needed.

14. Perform other related duties as assigned.

7. High School education or equivalent

Working Relationships:

1. Interacts with all other maintenance team.

2. Interacts with housekeeping, laundry and guest service teams

3. Interacts with all other property team members.

4. Reports to General Manager, Chief Maintenance Engineer and or Maintenance Lead
