Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare and present breakfast items in an appealing manner, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Set up the breakfast area, including arranging food items, utensils, and condiments for easy access by guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast station throughout service hours.
• Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate cash register for transactions when necessary, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and stored properly.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of breakfast supplies and notifying management of any shortages.

Skills

• Culinary skills with experience in meal preparation preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to create a positive dining experience for guests.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic meat cutting skills may be beneficial for certain menu items.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high standards of hygiene in food handling.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not required.
