What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended Stay Sales Manager position at Hilton Home2 Suites?
The Extended Stay Sales Manager is strategic in proactive & reactive sales to build 5 night base business for the DoubleTree by Hilton & Home2 Suites by Hilton hotels. This position requires the ability to cultivate & maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain deep understanding of competitors strengths, weaknesses to best understand how to share shift extended stay base business.
- Focus on prospecting new business opportunities in the extended stay market with a goal of 33% ESOcc to drive sales to maximize budgeted revenue.
- Collaborate with DOS & revenue management to optimize revenue strategies to drive base revenue.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for leadership.
- Capture & organize weekly sales activities within a sales CRM to capture status of accounts, activities an production.
- Communicate effectively with sales team & other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Perform exceptional levels of customer service.
- Ability to manage action plans to drive performance improvement.
- Strategize & achieve department targets and objectives while adhering to departmental & hotels work schedules, and policies and procedures.
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate communication is conducted.
- Familiarity of organizing banquet set up requirements from information on the B.E.O.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management. Advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus, or equal work experience.
- Proven experience in successful hotel Sales within the extended stay hotel segment a must.
- Excellent negotiation, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hotel sales and Hilton operational software, including OnQ, PEP & Delphi.
- Ability to create and manage action plans to drive performance improvement.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to be flexible and respond to a range of different work situations.
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Bilingual English /Spanish a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
