Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor at Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodland, CA, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, well-maintained, and meet brand standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong leader, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping team members, ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned efficiently and to brand standards.
- Inspect rooms, hallways, and public spaces for cleanliness and maintenance issues, addressing concerns promptly.
- Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to ensure consistency and high-quality service.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory control, and ordering housekeeping supplies.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to manage room readiness and address guest requests.
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with Hilton and local regulations.
- Assist in deep cleaning initiatives and special housekeeping projects.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Step in to perform housekeeping tasks as needed to support the team during high-occupancy periods.
- Any additional task and duties may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel setting required (Hilton brand experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train and motivate a diverse housekeeping team.
- Understanding of housekeeping operations, including cleaning procedures and equipment use.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
