We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other amenities as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
- Assist guest during their check-in process with their luggage and information on the surrounding area.
- Have a polite and professional demeanor.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is an asset.
