**Job Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order. The successful applicant will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to fabricate and repair parts as needed. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. - Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, including using an ohmmeter to diagnose issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and facilities using logical controllers and mechanical knowledge. - Paint and finish surfaces as needed. - Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance schedules and tasks. - Supervise junior maintenance technicians to ensure they are completing tasks efficiently and effectively. - Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facilities maintenance. **Skills:** - Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks. - Experience with electrical systems and the ability to use an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues. - Mechanical knowledge and the ability to fabricate and repair parts as needed. - Experience with residential painting and finishing. - Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and facilities. - Leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior maintenance technicians. - Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
