What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM/PM Maintenance Engineer - Full Time position at Hilton Hotel Event & Conference Center?
The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team! The Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Chief Engineer and assists with the daily maintenance of the property.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supply good customer service skills
- Assist the Chief Engineer or Management team in the daily functions of the property.
- Ability to attend to several projects
- Perform general maintenance
- Troubleshoot any maintenance problems and repair
- Complete all work orders that are assigned by any department
- Monitor/take readings of all heating/cooling and water systems daily
- Repair and troubleshoot restaurant equipment if needed
- Work on HVAC equipment and troubleshoot if necessary
- Do woodworking, wallpapering & dry walling
- Troubleshoot and do electrical repairs
- Repair laundry equipment
- Repair pool and spa equipment
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school graduate
- Good customer service skills
- General maintenance experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have good trouble-shooting skills
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification preferred
