What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher / Steward - Full time position at Hilton Hotel Event & Conference Center?
The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson has an opening for a full-time steward / dishwasher. This position works in the kitchen of the hotel offering sanitation support to the culinary team and restaurant service staff. Candidates should display a guest service personality and a positive attitude toward helping others in the back-of-the-house areas. Ideal candidates have flexible afternoon availability including weekends and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Set up the dish machine with clean components including grates, detergent, drying agent, water, etc.
- Separate refuse for garbage cans from scraps to be run through disposal.
- Run all dirty items through the dish machine for cleaning and return clean items to stock.
- Maintain a steady pace to meet demand for dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc.
- Participate in additional maintenance and cleaning chores as directed.
- Observe careful work habits and conditions in areas of sanitation, safety, breakage, and waste control.
