Job Summary
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the food and beverage department within our establishment. This position involves assisting in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service and quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with skills in supervising staff, budgeting, and training development.

Duties

• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations of the food and beverage outlets.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and operational procedures.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with budgeting, and manage costs effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing and reporting.
• Implement training programs for new hires to promote skill development and team cohesion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service management is preferred.
• Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
• Background in hospitality management or related field is highly desirable.
• Experience in kitchen operations is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and inventory management practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
