Job Summary
The Banquet Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. Duties
- Plan and execute banquet events from start to finish, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for events.
- Supervise banquet staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality service.
- Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery and presentation of meals.
- Oversee inventory management for food and beverage supplies.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and billing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling practices.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to create menus that meet client specifications.
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
- Strong background in food production and management practices.
- Experience working in quick service fast food restaurants or as an assistant manager is a plus.
- Familiarity with bar operations and beverage service is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
- Ability to train staff effectively in service techniques and operational procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
