What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Housekeeper position at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace?
Description
POSITION PURPOSE: To clean and maintain all public areas in order to maintain Hilton's high standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
1) Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all requests.
2) Reports all repair needs to the housekeeping management.
3) Reports all floor/carpet care needs to the housekeeping office.
4) Assists with all general cleaning and rehabilitation projects, as directed.
5) Maintains all public and back of the house areas as assigned.
6) Takes responsibility for all chemicals and equipment assigned.
7) Participates in the promotion of safety and security in assigned work area.
8) Supports work efforts of other housekeeping associates, as directed.
9) Completes all assigned projects in a timely manner.
10) Follows appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniform and appearance
11) Represents the Hotel with professionalism and decorum.
12) Performs any assignments as requested by management.
13) Works safely while using all equipment
14) Keeps all equipment used in clean condition.
15) Attends all required Housekeeping Department and other meetings
16) Performs other duties as assign
17) Vacuums all assigned areas.
18) Cleans and re-supplies bathrooms as needed
19) Cleans entrance glass as needed
20) Cleans offices when requested
21) Maintains pool and fitness area
22) Cleans lobby, bars and lounges as required
23) Cleans Guest Elevators
24) Cleans guestrooms as needed
25) Cleans garage elevator lobbies
26) Completes laundering of rags and uniforms
27) Washes guestroom glassware and coffee filters
28) Cleans 2nd floor conference room hall & bathrooms
29) Cleans and mop 2nd floor hallway
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be punched in, in proper uniform and ready to work as scheduled.
2. Must be detail-oriented
3. Must represent hotel in a courteous and well-groomed manner
4. Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grasp, stretch and push a cart on a regular basis
