Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Set-up team member to join our hospitality staff. This role is essential in ensuring that all banquet events are set up efficiently and meet the high standards of our guests. Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms for events by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment according to event specifications.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure that food service areas are properly arranged and stocked.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to guarantee quality and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Support bussing duties during events to clear tables promptly and efficiently.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in banquet set-up or a related role within the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Familiarity with catering operations and event management is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
