We are currently searching for a dynamic, hands-on Guest Service Agent for our Front Desk Department. We are looking someone who is customer service orientated, approachable, motivational, detail focused and has that “get the job done” attitude!
This position reports to the Front Desk Manager/Front Desk Supervisors, the Guest Service Agent is responsible for ensuring excellent reception for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check out and complete audits, as required; additional functions including:
- Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensures an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
- Ensures that the Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Supervisors are kept fully aware of all relevant feedback from guests and or other departments
- Demonstrates a high level of Customer Service at all times
- Demonstrates knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Management Team
As the Guest Service Agent you will train in developing and implementing Hilton Service Standards, maintain and model in full dress code compliance. You will be part of your department's team by creating team spirit and inspire team performance, in assisting to motivating the Front Desk Team Members by maintaining a positive attitude and exemplifying the vision and mission of Hilton Palm Springs.
The ideal Guest Service Agent candidate will bring the following minimum required or preferred assets to the company:
- 1 year of Hotel Front Desk Experience is required
- Positive, Friendly and Approachable Attitude
- Commitment to provide the Hilton Standards by delivering a high level of Customer Service
- Strong Team Building experience preferred
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills required
- Strong analytical, problem solving & organization skills required
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Ability to multitask in demanding environment required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
