Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the repair and maintenance of the property’s physical structure to the highest standards of quality and safety. Supervise and guide Maintenance department associates, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to achieving exceptional guest satisfaction scores.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas by performing routine maintenance tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other related repairs using hand tools.
- Notify management of the need for major repairs or upgrades to lighting, heating, ventilation, or other critical systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest service requests in alignment with company policies, maintaining accurate records of completed tasks.
- Program and configure phone systems in accordance with hotel requirements to ensure seamless communication.
- Monitor and record daily utility meter readings and equipment performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Remain accessible and responsive to both the Front Desk and Chief Engineer to address any immediate maintenance needs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all relevant chemicals and substances used.
- Ensure proper par stocking of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies to minimize downtime and delays.
- Familiarize with and adhere to emergency procedures to ensure swift, effective responses during critical situations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) are preferred.
- Hotel Experience required
