Job Overview:

As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind our property’s success, working strategically to generate top-line revenue and elevate the Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club’s presence in the marketplace. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the hotel’s growth while ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Sales Strategy: Drive revenue by developing and executing sales strategies that attract new business and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
  • Achieve Financial Goals: Focus on meeting or surpassing budget targets, ensuring the success and profitability of the property.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support the Sales team, ensuring the team’s productivity, growth, and alignment with hotel objectives.
  • Target Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market segments to grow the hotel’s customer base, while creating special packages to boost occupancy during slower periods.
  • Innovative Marketing: Design and implement creative marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and outdoor advertising, to boost brand awareness and drive business.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the hotel at trade shows, civic events, and local organizations to build connections and enhance the property’s visibility.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager, Department Heads, and staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Maintain the Sales Department’s annual budget, ensuring costs are controlled while maximizing revenue opportunities.



Work Experience

  • A proven track record in sales and marketing leadership, ideally within the hospitality or resort industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media and analytics platforms.
  • A dynamic and energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with the Florida Keys market and its unique appeal (preferred but not required).
