Job Description: Production Control Manager
Production Control Manager: Hilton Tool is a Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components. Specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are looking for an individual with experience in Machine Shops to lead our production control, planning and Scheduling. A successful candidate will be able to work with shop managers to develop and maintain production schedules for customer due dates. Work with outside vendors as needed.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00
Job Type: Full-time
DAY SHIFT:
Monday-Friday: 7am – 3:30pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop schedules based on customer orders, and machine shop capabilities.
- Analyze capacity and resource availability to optimize production flow.
- Prioritize jobs and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they are available when needed.
- Identify and work with management to resolve potential bottlenecks or shortages.
- Track production progress and identify any deviations from the schedule.
- Implement corrective actions to address issues with on time deliveries and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain records of production activities and performance.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Provide regular updates on production status to management and customers as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Have a positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, outlook
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to fulfil job requirements with limited supervision
- Strives to build knowledge and skills continuously
- Shares expertise with others
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an entire shift
