As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will assist and act in the absence of the Director of Sales / Marketing to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability. You will manage and solicit a designated market and organize and supervise sales activities.

What will I be doing?
- Plan, direct, organize and control departmental activities such as telemarketing, outside sales calls, conducting tours, entertaining clients, developing and soliciting new leads, presenting and preparing written CFS proposals and contracts.
- Supervise sales staff through account review, correspondence review, Delphi maintenance, and coaching toward improvement.
- Gather, organize and disseminate both written and verbal information regarding the specific requirements of clients' events to the appropriate departments and individual clients in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant, and professional manner.
- Develop target lists and action plans for account solicitation. Assist in assignment and distribution of leads. Provide guidance in prospecting and qualifying potential leads.
- Travel to represent the hotel in field trips and at trade shows as specified in the market plan. Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching overhead.
- Assist and act in the absence of the Director of Sales / Marketing to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability.
