The DoubleTree Seattle Airport is looking for its next Part Time Communications/PBX operator! This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow in the hospitality industry.
Shifts: Full availability to work AM, PM, and Overnight shifts; including weekends and holidays, anticipating 3-4 shifts per week
Hourly Range: $25.10 (plus opportunity for upsell incentives)
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- at least 1 year in a customer service role
- flexible scheduling (union role - no weekly restrictions can be honored; schedule will change weekly)
- strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Hotel front desk experience a plus
What will I be doing?
As a Communications/PBX Operator, you would be responsible for answering and responding to internal and external calls in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues via telephone in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
- Respond to emergencies and document and relay comprehensive, accurate information to proper parties in emergency situations
- Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately, utilizing proper grammar and spelling
- Operate office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, PBX system, fax machine, e-mail, etc.
