What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail Clerk - Hilton Los Angeles Airport position at Hilton?
Greets customers and responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, and directions to local attractions. Answers telephone calls and inputs messages into the computer. Retrieves messages and communicates contents to the guest.
- Grasp, lift, carry and/or otherwise load/unload and transport packages from service vehicles and dolly
carts to storage area of recipient - Receive, document, organize and mail out packages, working with delivery and parcel services. Notify
guests and employees of receipt in a timely manner - Perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator to accurately figure over-night delivery, postage
and other charges of fees. - Resolve complications as they arise, eg., lost parcels, damaged packages, untimely delivery of packages
and other similar situations
