Title: Retail Sales Associate
Department: Retail
Reports To: Retail Manager
Position Details: Part Time | Weekends Required (Friday to Sunday) | Estimated 16-20 Hours per Week (requests for time off during larger programs may be declined due to operational needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and clean store atmosphere to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
- Greet customers upon arrival and offer assistance in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Develop knowledge of the products offered to provide helpful recommendations and answer customer inquiries.
- Focus on sales while ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the store well-stocked, organized, and tidy to maintain a neat and appealing display.
- Efficiently handle customer transactions at the checkout.
- Assist customers with decision-making, locating items within the store, and providing detailed product information.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or a customer-facing service role is preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong team player.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
- Quick to take direction, open to continuous learning
