DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine checks at least every two hours or when needed by Production. This includes checking weights and verifying metal detection. (daily)
- Check machines for cleanliness and perform environmental testing and/or allergen testing. (daily)
- Clean and Sanitize the Quality Lab. (daily)
- Record temperatures for the Dry Room and Cold Storage. (daily)
- Calibrate Scales. (weekly)
- Distribution of chemicals for Production. (when needed)
- Complete any testing for water/moisture, remaining from day shift.
- Perform Internal Audits. (monthly)
- Make sure all required paperwork is completed. (daily)
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year working in the food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other related food safety procedures a plus
- Must be flexible to work longer days and occasionally Saturdays during busy periods.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
- Quality Control Experience (at least 1 year) or Manufacturing in Food Industry (1 year)
- Superior communication skills verbal and written English.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Exceptional knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, OSHA a plus
