Himmel’s is a growing organization with locations in New Orleans, Prairieville, Houston, and Nashville. We pride ourselves as door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Field Service Manager to join our team at our Nashville, TN Location!
This position is scheduled Monday -Thursday 6am – 4:30pm and Friday 6am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.
Field Service Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct morning team meetings.
- Submit project tickets to our Prairieville & New Orleans warehouse teams.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their project(s).
- Utilize the following programs: Smartsheet, Excel, Comsense, and Outlook.
- Generate installation packets for upcoming onsite visits.
- Communicate with lead technicians who oversee all installations, from pre-install to onsite installations.
- Visit job sites as needed. These visits consist of quality checks, safety audits, etc.
- Using information gathered from submitted sales orders, EOD (End of Day) reports, and shipping updates, compose daily maintenance schedules.
- Submit finalized work orders to our Accounting Department for billing purposes.
- Manage the maintenance team’s tool & PPE inventory.
- Schedule routine maintenance on assigned Himmel’s fleet vehicles.
- This position oversees maintenance for all LA-based projects.

- Familiar with Construction Industry
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
- Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
