Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Commercial Door Installer to join our team!
The Commercial Door Installer position is expected to install and repair doors and hardware on commercial sites.
This position is scheduled Monday -Friday 6am – 3:30pm.
Job Responsibilities
- Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Uses various hand and power tools to securely install doors.
- Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
- Track progress through detailed end of day reporting
- Coordinate with project manager and onsite customer contact(s) to ensure project completion and satisfaction are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints
- Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
- Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods
- Works well as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience as a door installer or trim carpenter
