About the role:
As a Service Advisor Assistant, you’ll provide comprehensive support to our Service Advisors. You'll be performing active deliveries, service follow-up calls and quality control activities. You'll assist with administrative duties and providing coverage when a Service Advisor isn't available. You'll also assist with our growing rental car business!
Highlights of the role include:
- Support Daily Operations:
- Perform active deliveries to ensure clients fully understand the services performed on their vehicles.
- Assist with service follow-up calls to maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Scan and organize documents from previous days for accurate record-keeping.
- Backup Coverage:
- Provide backup coverage for Service Advisors when they are unavailable or off work.
- Answer phones promptly to schedule appointments or address client inquiries.
- Client Care & Quality Control:
- Conduct quality control checks on completed services to ensure vehicles meet company standards.
- Follow up on customer concerns and ensure resolution to enhance the client experience.
- Administrative Assistance:
- Help schedule service appointments and gather client and vehicle information prior to visits.
- Maintain service department forms, menus, and pricing guides for up-to-date customer communication.
- Collaboration with Advisors:
- Work closely with Service Advisors to understand their daily challenges and alleviate workload pressures.
- Assist in implementing a consistent quality control process to reduce comebacks.
- Customer Interaction:
- Support Advisors in explaining completed work and charges to customers when needed.
- Help identify additional service opportunities and communicate them effectively to clients.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- 1 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role in the automotive industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience supporting Service Advisor is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail to ensure quality control and accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with automotive service processes and terminology is preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening, background check and a motor vehicle report subject to current policy
