Education And/Or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
Customer service oriented
Grounds maintenance/landscaping ie. mower, weed eater, chainsaw, tractor operation
Chemical spray calculation and application
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and perform light to medium maintenance on all equipment and infrastructure owned by the Airport.
Assist in maintaining field lighting system for runway, taxiways and aprons.
Aviation fuel testing and quality control
Assist in fuel farm maintenance
Fueling aircraft
Tow and stow aircraft
Afterhours and weekend call rotations are required
Other duties may be assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This is a labor intensive job. The employee will be expected to sit on a lawn mower or hold a weed eater/edger, chainsaw etc. for hours at a time, climb ladders, hold/pickup materials and equipment, use shovels, hoes and rakes to dig/fill holes and ditches. The ability to acclimate and endure outdoor environmental conditions is paramount.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, taste and smell. The employee is frequently required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the employee is required to perform job responsibilities in the outdoors and occasionally off site.
