Hinds Hospice, one of the most well-known and well-respected nonprofit agencies in California’s Central Valley and a pioneer in the practice of hospice and palliative care, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team.
As a member of the interdisciplinary team the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or RN under the direction of the Clinical Manager or a registered nurse, provides direct patient care to patients in their home as needed.

Qualifications
- Compensation $40 hourly plus $8/hr Call-time

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Completion of a Licensed Vocational Nursing Education Program or a professional nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing (prefer completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing).
- Demonstrated ability to work with health team personnel.
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care facility or community health agency, (prefer one-year hospice experience).
- Current LVN or RN license, CPR, recent physical and TB, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, HepB immunizations.
- Must have a valid CA drivers license and a willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Must show proof of automobile insurance, proof of current auto registration and acceptable driving record (no more than 3 points within a 36-month period).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Ability to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 4pm-12am and call time from 12am-8am on call.
