Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction management software, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the job site, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting future costs.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera to streamline project workflows.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide construction activities effectively.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, changes, and communications.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to construction projects.
- Proficient in using construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols on job sites.
- Experience interpreting schematics and managing pipeline projects is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
