What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optical Sales Associate position at Hindsight?
At Hindsight, we provide comprehensive eye exams. Our full–service optical includes an on–site lab where we can process your prescription glasses. We are committed to providing our patients with the best care possible.
Optician/Optical Associate Duties:
- Perform optical technician duties in a healthcare setting, following aseptic technique and protocols.
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of optical systems and equipment.
- Provide support to patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses.
- Maintain and update medical records related to optical services provided.
- Pre-testing for exams and document accurate patient information.
- Assist with retail management tasks, such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized optical area.
Optician/Optical Associate Experience:
- Previous experience in optical sales
- Manual Lensometry a must (Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot use a Manual Lensmeter)
- Manual PDs and Fitting Heights
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and attention to detail in documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff and patients in a professional manner.
