Responsibilities
As a Facility Operations Technician at Hines, you will provide facility services to support safe, efficient, high-quality operations for all employees and guests of the facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Building Operations
- Daily opening of Facility
- Receipt of deliveries
- Vendor escort (AOA compliance)
- Guest/Passenger support
- Parking gate monitoring
- Daily operations and monitoring of HVAC system
Energy Management Systems and Resources
- Data collection and reporting
Fire/Life Safety Protection and Alarm Systems
- Coordination of required alarm system testing/inspection
- Fire extinguisher & AED program management and reporting
- AED program management and reporting
Risk Management/EHS
- Safety Program compliance and reporting
- SDS Program administration
- Ladder Inspection Program
- Eye-wash station management
- Emergency Response Planning
- Evacuation / Shelter Drill coordination
- Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Support
- Confined Space Management
- Power/Hand Tool/Machine Guarding Support
- Environmental
- Spill Response Support
- Hazardous & Universal Waste Support
- Refrigerant Management Reporting
Partnered with the Facility Management, Engineering, and vendors, provide hands-on oversight of service providers and associated requirements for:
- Landscape/Snow Removal/Parking Lot & Walkways
- Pest Control
- HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical Maintenance
- Fitness Area Equipment
- Fuel Storage Tank Maintenance
- Miscellaneous Project Management as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Three or more years’ experience as a Building Engineer or equivalent facilities technical trade
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to pass all requirements for Air Operations Area (AOA) badge clearance including training, testing, and background checks. Maintaining AOA clearance is a condition of employment
