In this role you will work collaboratively with our Utilization Review RNs, Case Managers, and Physician Reviewers as you assist with processing cases through the physician review process.
You will be responsible for assigning cases to the appropriate physician specialty for review, quality assurance of final physician reports to ensure the final determination rationale from the physician is supported by the patient's records provided, and that the rationale is supported by appropriate evidence-based literature.
You will also be responsible to notify the assigned UR or CM nurse of the determination for processing on their end and ensuring the physician review is completed within the appropriate timeframe.

Requirements:· Active IL RN license
· Experience working in acute care clinical setting.
· Ability to effectively communicate.
· Ability to type at least 35 WPM.
