Responsibilities
The Property Marketing Intern will assist the Property Marketing team in executing the digital strategy across various platforms. The intern will gain hands-on experience in creating, curating, and auditing content while supporting the day-to-day operations of property marketing. This role will provide an opportunity to learn about commercial & residential property marketing, content creation, audience engagement, and performance analysis. The intern will work closely with the entire Americas Property Marketing team, supporting ongoing projects with the goal of enhancing property brand strength and engagement.
Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Assist in reviewing multifamily property social media content (images, captions, videos, etc.) for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others provided by our agency partners.
- Help on-site teams use creative tools like Canva ensuring consistent voice and brand alignment on marketing materials.
- Assist with content curation, identifying relevant industry news and trends to develop social media campaign playbooks for Hines’ multifamily communities
- Review and monitor digital channels for engagement, comments, and messages, responding as appropriate or escalating to the team on platforms like Google, Meta, X, and other reputation sites.
Campaign Support
- Help with the execution of social media campaigns, ensuring content is aligned with campaign objectives.
- Assist in brainstorming content ideas for upcoming campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Track and report on campaign performance and social media metrics, assisting in analyzing results and suggesting improvements.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with the Communications team to develop ideas and support the team’s broader strategy.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to gain insight into integrated communication efforts.
- Learn and contribute to social media best practices and how they align with business goals.
Social Media Reporting
- Assist with compiling performance reports on social media content and campaigns, tracking key metrics such as engagement, reach, and impressions.
- Contribute to analyzing social media data to inform future content and campaign strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and their tools and features.
- Basic writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an understanding of brand voice and messaging.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create high-quality, error-free content.
- Creative mindset and eagerness to contribute ideas to social media content.
- Interest in learning about social media marketing, digital engagement, and brand strategy.
- Collaborative: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Adaptable: Willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and social media trends, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Creative: Enthusiastic about brainstorming content ideas and executing creative social media posts.
- Organized: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks.
- Communicative: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
- This is a summer internship, expected to last 12 weeks.
- Flexible working hours, with an expectation of 20-30 hours per week.
- This internship requires in-office attendance and collaboration 2-3 days per week.
- Compensation: $20/hr - $23/hr
