About The Role
We are seeking a Growth Marketing QA Analyst to join our Growth Marketing Operations (GROMO) team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in troubleshooting live marketing issues, performing root cause analysis, and improving quality assurance processes. The primary focus will be on identifying, diagnosing, and resolving active marketing campaign issues across multiple channels, including email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging. You will collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, and data teams to investigate failures, document findings, and implement solutions that improve campaign execution and prevent future issues.

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $89,600 - $134,400.

What You’ll Accomplish
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
- Act as the first responder for active marketing campaign issues, identifying root causes and troubleshooting failures.
- Investigate segmentation mismatches, automation logic errors, and campaign execution failures using platform logs, campaign reports, and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with marketing operations, CRM, and data teams to resolve ongoing campaign execution issues efficiently.
- Validate webhook integrations, API connections, and cross-channel marketing triggers as needed.
- Track recurring issues and work with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements that reduce errors.
- Ensure audience segmentation accuracy and data integrity before and after campaign deployment.
- Analyze campaign performance data using Google Sheets, Looker, or Mode Analytics to detect patterns in failures.
- Verify tracking parameters (UTMs, attribution tags) and investigate attribution discrepancies.
- Perform post-mortem analysis on campaign issues, documenting findings and recommending improvements.

Basic Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or campaign execution troubleshooting.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Understanding of email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging automation workflows.
- Previous experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting marketing campaign execution issues.
- Familiarity with segmentation logic, audience targeting, and personalization strategies.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using Google Sheets, Looker, or Mode Analytics.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, working with marketing, CRM, and analytics teams.
- Basic SQL skills to analyze campaign data and investigate segmentation issues.
- Experience using Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools for troubleshooting integrations.
- Understanding of email deliverability best practices and sender reputation management.
- Familiarity with direct mail QA processes and print vendor integrations.
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile marketing environments with rapid iteration cycles.
