Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Vice President of Sales (EVP-Sales) to lead our Fiber-to-the-Home sales efforts. This high-level role is critical to our company’s success, combining strategic vision with tactical execution to drive growth in existing markets and expand into new ones. Reporting directly to the CEO, the EVP-Sales will manage all sales operations, including HOA, MDU, residential, and commercial business units. The ideal candidate is a dynamic "player-coach" who can both inspire a high-performance team and engage directly in sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Building and Leadership:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s core mission and values.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a motivating and collaborative work environment to attract and retain top talent.
- Act as a mentor, setting a high standard for the team’s performance.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies across multiple sales verticals.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys with HOA boards, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the CEO to set and exceed ambitious sales objectives.
- Drive sales growth through creative incentive programs, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities based on emerging market trends.
Compensation and Performance Management:
- Foster a results-driven culture with robust sales funnel management.
- Design and implement competitive compensation plans to motivate and reward top performers.
- Regularly monitor and report sales performance to senior management.
Direct Sales Activities:
- Engage in direct sales with strategic accounts and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, developers, and enterprise clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide detailed weekly sales reports to track progress toward goals.
- Present insights and updates on sales activities to the executive team.
Training and Development:
- Create and deliver training programs to enhance the team’s skills and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to refine sales strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10 years of senior sales leadership experience, preferably in telecom or broadband.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets and lead high-performance teams.
- Knowledge of the Southern California market is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
