Position Title: Van Driver
Location: District-Wide
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Hours Per Week: Minimum 25 hours per week
Job Description
The Hingham Public School system is seeking Van Drivers to safely transport students to and from their homes, schools. This is a permanent position with a minimum of 25 hours per week and includes benefits.
Responsibilities include:
-Driving students to and from school.
-Observing all established work practices in accordance with school policies
-Complying with all motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Registry of Motor Vehicles, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, School Committee, and local authorities
-Reporting of all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to supervisor in a timely manner.
-Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicles.
-Maintaining a clean vehicle at all times.
-Required Skills
-Must have a clean driving record
-Maintain or be able to maintain a 7D License, required. Training available, if needed.
