We are looking for a responsible Maintenance Assistant to perform various maintenance tasks in a positive culture, fast-paced work environment focusing on strong team dynamics.
The duties of the Maintenance Assistant include working in many areas to ensure the professional appearance and upkeep of the facility and grounds.

You will ensure the appearance and upkeep of the facility and grounds.
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism with guests, team members, and external partners
- Being a valuable contributor to the overall team effort to accomplish set goals
- Completing minor repair work, including but not limited to items such as paint touch-ups, drywall patching, repairing doors, locks, door frames and handles as well as replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, table or desk legs, chairs, etc.
- Performing basic plumbing tasks, including unclogging drains, leaking faucets, toilets, etc.
- Maintaining outdoor areas, including but not limited to parking lot maintenance (trash pick-up, leaf blowing, and/or minor repairs), mowing, trimming, edging the lawn and seasonal flower plantings; also, occasional cement work, snow shoveling, or ice removal as needed.
- Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups as needed.
- Assisting with maintenance on various attractions (once trained.)
- Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of grounds maintenance or construction experience required
- Sound knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work
- Proven general maintenance experience
- The ability to safely operate hand and power tools as well as cleaning equipment
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Physical Demands of the job include the ability to:
- Bend, stoop, lift, climb; steady and comfortable on ladders.
- Occasional climb to various heights and working in confined spaces
- May require lifting materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Operate large and small power-driven machinery such as vacuum, sweeper, buffer, or other similar equipment
We are an EOE. Pay/Benefits: $15 to $17 on up depending on experience. Full time. PTO/UTO/Sick. Employee incentives, events, and discounts.
