At Hino Motors, we are looking for a skilled Production Team Lead to join our team in Marion, Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for training and supporting team members by providing expertise on the operational aspects of the logistics area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production line machinery following standardized work instructions
- Cross-train in all processes and train other team members
- Ensure continuous process flow in the absence of team members
- OBSERVE operators' techniques and ensure adherence to standardized work
- Coach continuous improvement and set up job rotation according to supervisor's guidelines
- Initiate Stop-Call-Wait if abnormal conditions are detected and contact supervisor for troubleshooting
- Suggest ideas for process improvement and conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards
- Maintain clean work areas according to 5S's standards and operate within safety standards
- Create standard work instructions and complete time studies and ergonomic evaluations
- Train new team members and assign work to ensure support for customers
