Senior Paralegal Role
Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is a leading national law firm that seeks an experienced Civil Defense Litigation Senior Paralegal to provide top-notch legal and administrative support to our team of attorneys.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil defense litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing, editing, filing, and composing complex legal documents
• Communicating effectively with clients, counsel, and court personnel
• Reviewing and processing incoming mail and correspondence
• Maintaining confidentiality of the attorney-client relationship
• Establishing and maintaining calendar and deadline reminder systems
To excel in this role, you will need:
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 3-5 years of civil defense litigation paralegal experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• In-depth knowledge of State and Federal court rules and local rules, where applicable
