Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team at our supplement store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health, fitness, and nutrition and have a strong interest in helping customers achieve their wellness goals. As a Sales Representative, you will provide expert guidance on products, ensure exceptional customer service, and contribute to the store’s success by driving sales and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales:
- Greet and engage customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate supplements based on their health goals.
- Provide expert knowledge on a range of dietary supplements, including vitamins, protein powders, herbal products, and sports nutrition.
- Upsell and cross-sell products by educating customers on the benefits and features of products.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding product ingredients, usage, and benefits.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Product Knowledge & Store Maintenance:
- Stay informed about the latest products, trends, and scientific research in the supplement and wellness industry.
- Ensure product displays are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist in managing inventory, tracking stock levels, and placing orders for restocks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
- Customer Education & Retention:
- Educate customers on proper supplement usage, ensuring they understand dosages, timing, and potential benefits.
- Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and offer recommendations for new or complementary products.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on product offerings and sales strategies.
- Contribute to store promotions, events, and community outreach to build brand awareness.
- Sales Tracking & Reporting:
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Track individual performance metrics and assist in developing strategies for improvement.
- Assist in tracking customer feedback and market trends to inform product ordering and promotions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Passion for Health & Fitness – Interest in wellness, nutrition, fitness, and supplements is a plus.
- Customer-Centric Attitude – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Sales Experience – Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, especially in a health or supplement-related environment.
- Product Knowledge – Ability to learn and understand the benefits, usage, and features of a wide range of supplements.
- Team Player – Ability to collaborate with a diverse team to meet store goals.
- Organizational Skills – Ability to keep track of inventory, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a busy environment.
- Basic Math Skills – Ability to handle cash, process transactions, and manage inventory with accuracy.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent – Further education or certifications in nutrition, fitness, or health-related fields is a plus.
