Medical Assistant/Front Desk

Job Summary:

This is Hippocrates Wellness: A world class health and wellness resort that sits on 50 acres of lush, tropical paradise in West Palm Beach, Florida. Offering holistic therapies and fitness classes, delicious gourmet raw-vegan cuisine and an organic salon.

We are a busy health resort and looking for someone who is organized, friendly and detailed. Practicing and knowledgeable of a plant-based lifestyle highly preferred to help answer questions about HW programs and support guests on their health journey.

Position shifts are Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9-5:30 Sunday 9-2

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

HW provides holistic support therapies, homeopathic remedies, and serves only organic raw vegan meals. Applicants should have knowledge of holistic practices, natural remedies, and have experience in/follow a similar lifestyle to be able to assist guests regarding the HHI program. Phlebotomy is a plus. Practicing a plant-based lifestyle is highly preferred.

Support nursing station and Vida team including but not limited to: blood pressure checks, Accu-cheks, weigh-ins, basic first aid, troubleshooting guest issues, natural remedy support, chart creation, and general department admin.

Answer guest phone calls and answer questions in person to help educate and assist our guests with any concerns during their stay on campus.

Assists guests by answering questions regarding the HHI programs and benefits of a raw vegan diet.

Documenting in charts as needed.

As needed, assist scheduling therapies in the Vida building including but not limited to electro-magnetic therapy, Comra, Nucalm, oxygen therapy, and IV therapy.

Opening guest gym and juice bar location in the am before end of shift.

Basic first aid.

Additional Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Holistic experience preferred.
• Current Florida Medical Assistant License or in the process of completing MA education.
• Fluency in Spanish and French language a plus but not a requirement.

Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 39 per week
