Position Overview:
Are you passionate about preserving history while ensuring the smooth operation of a world-class venue? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our beautiful, historic theatre.
As the Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the theatre’s physical environment. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day maintenance, overseeing facility safety, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that the building remains in top condition for events, performances, and daily operations.
Responsibilties Include:
Housekeeping: Health and sanitary cleaning
Maintain, Repairs, Renovations major systems:
Plumbing; electrical; roof; floors; doors; windows; elevator; wheelchair lift; air
conditioning; heating; lighting; walls; painting
Hire and manage all housekeeping staff
Create and manage Health, Safety and Fire Safety Disaster Preparedness Plan
Provide staff safety training
Manage security alarm system
On call at all times as main contact
Manage fire safety building inspections
Manage waste management
Manage automobile fleet
Manage pest control
Purchasing agent
Contact person for all physical plant vendors and suppliers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
