What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at HippoPress?
Love to make things? Design? Creative and enjoy working with people? Then we want you. Hippo is looking for a designer to do editorial layout, ads and print products in a team environment as well as assist in our print department.
We will train but applicant should be proficient in InDesign (the main program we use to layout the magazine, build ads and design printed products). It helps to have had some intern experience. Tasks can include designing ads in InDesign, designing covers and layout for magazines, designing brochures, signs and banners and other items to be printed, answering customer inquiries via phone or email; quoting out print jobs using our industry software and working with production to schedule jobs.
Schedule would be Monday and Fridays, 8:30 to 4:30.

This is a 100% in-person position at our office in Manchester.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
