Job Description
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Survey Technician to join client's survey team. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Microstation, Projectwise, TopoDot, and AutoCAD software, and demonstrate a strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques. This position plays a critical role in supporting our ongoing projects, and ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of survey data to our clients.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform complex data processing tasks utilizing Microstation, TopoDot, and AutoCAD software for a variety of survey projects, including topographic, boundary, and route surveys.
- Interpret and analyze field data, including point clouds, aerial imagery, and LiDAR data, to generate accurate and detailed survey drawings and maps.
- Collaborate with field survey crews and project managers to ensure the efficient and accurate collection, processing, and delivery of survey data.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data and deliverables.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices for land surveying and geospatial data processing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for survey projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of survey processes and procedures through research, innovation, and adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
