Director of Physician Group Operations

Hire Caliber Staffing is seeking a Director for a healthcare organization in Missoula, MT.

This role will oversee physician practice operations, drive strategic growth, and optimize financial and clinical performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare management, business planning, and physician engagement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement strategies to grow and optimize physician service lines
• Align practice operations with financial and organizational goals
• Engage physicians, advanced practice providers, and staff in high-performing teams

Financial & Operational Management

• Oversee budgets, financial forecasting, and business plans
• Implement operational efficiencies to enhance clinical and administrative workflows
• Manage physician hiring, compensation, and performance benchmarks

Program Development & Compliance

• Lead business expansion initiatives and service line development
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
• Standardize processes across multiple service lines for efficiency and scalability

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in health or business administration preferred
• In lieu of a master’s degree, a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of progressive practice management experience
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive physician practice management or healthcare leadership experience
• Strong financial acumen with experience in business planning, SWOT analysis, and financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CPPS, CMPE
• Experience working in a matrix organization and leading by influence

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $117,000 to $168,000, along with a signing bonus and partial relocation assistance. Additional benefits include:
